Hi, I have completed my 10th Board exams at the age of 15 years and I wish to join Indian Navy but I heard that minimum age criteria to join Indian Navy is 17 years. Is it true? Am I eligible to join Indian Navy at 15 years?

Minimum age criteria to join Indian Navy:-

Yes it is true, the minimum age criteria to join Indian Navy is 17 years.
So, you are not eligible to join Indian Navy at the age of 15 years.

Minimum Age Limit:-
Minimum age limit is 17 years.

Marital Status:
Unmarried Indian male citizen are eligible.

Qualification:
Matric or equivalent with 55% or above marks in Science and Maths.

You can join Indian Navy after qualifying in NDA entrance examination.

It is conducted by UPSC. The eligiblility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in 12th with PCM as main paper.

The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible to appear in the examination.

Yes it is true that 17 years is the minimum age requirement. You can utilize two years by doing courses from Maritime Training Institute for better idea and exposure to Indian Navy
