what is the minimum age required to write cbse x exam?

The minimum age must be 15 years for appearing in class 10 examination from any board. CBSE has the same eligibility criteria. However, on certain occasion when a student is highly intelligent/meritorious and have got double promotions on one occasion or more does get exceptional clearance to appear for the exam.

Actually there is no age limit to write 10th class exam from any board

but If you studying 10th class with regular you should be 15 years.......

so,same requirements are apply to the CBSE 10th class.................

My Daughter is born on 11th May, 2010 and i have got a couple of questions
1) Is it possible to get an admission in any of the CBSE school in chennai for LKG for this academic year 2013-14 ?
2) Assuming I get her admitted in LKG, whether there will be any issues for her later on when she sits for her CBSE 10th Class exams

I have the same question as above...
My daughter is born on 9th June 2010, can I admit her in LKG for 2013-14 batch.

From the chain of questions and response , we understand that the minimum age required to write CBSE 10th exam is 15 years. However , what is the cut off date for a child to be 15 years to write board exam. Is it 31st March/ 30th April / 31st May /30th June.

The minimum age criteria in INDIA to get admitted in tenth class is 14 years but some of the schools allowed to appear only those students who have completed their age of 15.So it is not a point to worry.Go through the knowledge provided by the schools.Otherwise the students who is more than 14 years are eligible for the 10th standard
