Dear Sir/Madam,

Please let me know the minimum age required to write cbse 10th exam, my daughter's date of birth is 11-01-2010, now she is in UKG, will there be a problem when she writes cbse 10th exam based this admission.

please advise,

Do not worry, there will be no problem for your daughter in appearing in 10th standard exam as per her date of birth that is 11/01/2010.

While appearing for 10th exams, her age will be 15 years which is the minimum age required for any candidate to appear for C.B.S.E 10th exams.

The minimum age required to appear for 10th CBSE Board exams is 15 years. Since, you daughter is in UKG as she is 5 years old, when she reaches to 10th standard, she will be attained the age of 15 years, so, she can definitely appear for the 10th CBSE board exams when she completes her 10th standard.

In order to appear for the Central Board of Secondary Examination 10th exam, the minimum age required is 15 years.

So, as per the present age, your daughter will be eligible to appear for the 10th exam.

I wants to know that ,what the rules in 2009 of Rajasthan board for secondary education including minimum age limit

As per CBSE norms,student should should attain the age of 16 at the time of board.
Where as in state board,the minimum age required to appear for board is 14 years .
Unlike state board,CBSE is very particular about the criteria,if found the age of student is less than the criteria ,student will not to appear for the board exam.

According to the guidelines of CBSE
One must have attained the minimum of 14 years and maximum of 16 years on 31st of march to get admission in 10th standard.
Since your daughter was born on April 10 2014 make sure by the time when she will get admission in 10th standard she must have attained the minimum required age which is 14 years.

Since your daughter was born on January 11, 2011. She will become eligible in 2025 to take admission in 10th standard.

My daughter was born on 14.8.2008. She is now studying in 5th standard. She is eligible to write the 10th exams in cbsc academic year 2022-2023

The minimum age limit to appear in 10th board examination is decided by the Directorate of Education of respective state.

So, you have to visit the office of the Directorate for details or visit at official website it there is any.

There is no minimum age limit officially declared by any recognised board.

My son's date of birth is 11.04.2015. Coming june(2018) he will join lkg in cbse school. Now i have a doubt that during his 10th std any problem rise to write his exam. Any age factor problem?

The minimum age to appear in the 10th board exam is 14 years , as of 31st december of the year of examination . However , there is no upper limit of age to appear in the exam. But there is maximum number of attempts to appear in the examination.

Candidate maximum age should be on 31st march of same year of admission- 16 years.

Candidate minimum age should be on 31st march of same year of admission- 14 years.
