What is the minimum educational criteria for BPSC and UPSC?
I have completed my graduation from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). With this degree am I eligible for either Bihar Public Service Commission or Union Public Service Commission exams?

BPSC is Bihar State Public Service Commission and UPSC is Union Public Service Commission. The minimum academic qualification required for both of exams is bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university.
Candidates who have done bachelor's degree in Fashion Technology can apply for BPSC and UPSC Civil Services exam. |

BPSC stands for Bihar Public Service Commission.
UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. The educational qualifications required for BPSC or, UPSC exam:- 1) Candidates must have qualified their Graduation degree in any stream from any recognized university. 2) Final year candidates are also eligible for this exam. 3) Nationality:- Indian. 4) Age:- 21-32 years. 5) Age Relaxation:- 5 years for SC/ST category candidates |

You are eligible to appear for BPSC and UPSC examination after graduation from NIFT.
NIFT is a recognised university and graduation degree from a recognised university is valid to appear for BPSC and UPSC examination. The age limit for BPSC is 21-37 years and for UPSC 21-32 years with relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category. The minimum education required to apply for BPSC or UPSC ( generally known as the Civil Services examination) examination is a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
So, having completed your graduation degree course from NIFT, you are eligible to apply for UPSC and BPSC examination as far as the educational requirement for the same examination is concerned. 1. The full form of BPSC and UPSC is Bihar Public Service Commission and UPSC is Union Public Service Commission.
2. You must have done bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university to apply for BPSC and UPSC exam. 3. Only passing percentage of marks in graduation is required to apply for these exams. 4. The minimum age limit to apply for UPSC Civil Services exam is 21 years. |

NIFT is a recognised institute and bachelor degree from the institute is valid to appear for BPSC and UPSC recruitment examination.
The eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline. So, you are eligible to appear in the examination. The examination is conducted in three stages and candidates have to appear and qualify in all the stages for final selection. |

The minimum age criteria is 21 years to apply for BPSC and UPSC examinations. Since, you have completed graduation course, you are eligible to apply for BPSC and UPSC examinations.
