Hi, I wanted to apply for IPS examination. So, wanted to know about the minimum educational requirements and physical health or fitness (height, weight, eyesight) requirements to be eligible for IPS exams. Also, let me know about the different categories or ranking available in IPS?

The minimum requirements for Indian Police Services examination:

>Candidate must be graduate in any stream from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for exam.

>>Minimum age required is 21 years.

>>Minimum height for IPS male candidates: 165 cms and 150 cms for female candidates.

>>Eyesight: 6/6 or 6/9 vision for distant eye vision.
