What is the minimum percentage requirement for B.Ed in distance universities?


I passed MA from V B S Poorvanchal University. Marks are in BA and MA around 43-43 percent. I want to do B.Ed and planning to give entrance for B.Ed however, the criteria of eligibility for B.Ed is minimum 50 percent. So how it will be possible for me to do B.Ed? Does distance universities also ask for 50%?

B.Ed stands for Bachelor of education. The basic eligibility required to get admission in B.ed course is the candidates should have passed graduation in any stream from a recognized university. The minimum percentage required in the graduation course for the admission of B.Ed Regular/Distance is 50%. As per given percentage criteria, you are not eligible to get admission in B.Ed course in any University or College.

For distance B.Ed course, a candidate must have passed bachelor degree with at least 45% from a recognised University.

Bachelor of Education is a teacher training course and minimum eligibility criteria for distance education is:

Candidate must have done bachelor's degree from a recognised University with at least 50% marks and relaxation of 5% is given to SC/ST/PH candidates.

Minimum percentage for B.Ed in distance Universities:-

Eligibility criteria distance Bachelor of Education Course;-

The essential qualification for B.Ed course is graduation. Final year graduation candidate can also apply for B.Ed course .

Minimum percentage of marks required to apply for B.Ed course is 50% in graduation.

The duration of this course is 2 years.
