how much minimum mark in medical entrance for qualifying?

The minimum marks required for appearing in the medical entrance examination in the your board examination is 60% aggregate in Physics , Chemistry and Biology individually .There is the provision of marks relaxation upto 10% for categories other than general as per the government rules .

The minimum qualifications marks for the different medical entrance examination for different years are generally different .But based on the previous year cutoffs I am providing you an idea about the same for some of the best known medical examinations like AIPMT , AIIMS , State PMT .

For the AIPMT examination the minimum cutoff lies around 65% to 70% where as for the other two mentioned entrance examination it lies around 50% generally .

Also for appearing in these examination your age must be within 17 years to 25 years till the last date of the year in which you are applying for the same .

There is slight variation in required minimum marks for qualifying the medical entrance examination. But as per general rule it is required that one must obtained minimum 50% marks. But for candidates belong to reserved categories must have obtained minimum 40 % marks in aggregate. Simultaneously, candidate must have opted medical stream in intermediate level with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Moreover, candidate must be above the age of 17 years.
