Hello Sir,
I have completed my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth.Currently I am working in Institute as Lab Assistant.In diploma I have got 54% marks.What are the options after diploma for me?

you can apply for any degree course in any college .there are many colleges offering b.e courses after diploma.but one thing important is there is need of about 60% in diploma .dont panic just go to google.com and check out the colleges offering b.e.

As you are already in a job you can go for AMIE course.
this course is really a valid course and it is under ministry of HRD, India.
if you want to go for a government job which is very natural in the sense that mechanical engineers are mostly appointed by various public sector companies still you will not lose your chance(after AMIE).
Other options include learning CAD/CAM and joining the designing industry. which is also a very good option regarding today's economic environment.
