Respected Sir, I am pursuing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and after completing it I want to join ISRO. I want to know am I eligible to get a job in ISRO after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering? Are there any jobs related to Diploma in Mechanical Engineering?

ISRO refers to Indian Space Research Organisation and it recruits candidates who have completed their diploma in mechanical engineering. In order to join ISRO you must fulfill some requirements which are:

> Candidates who have completed their diploma in the field of ECE/ME/CSE/CE/EE with minimum 50% marks from a recognized college/university are eligible to apply.

> Age should be in between 21 to 32 years, for SC/ST candidates the age is relaxed by 5 years and for OBC it is 3 years.

> Pending backlogs won't be entertained.

Yes you are eligible to apply for job in ISRO, but as you are a diploma holder in mechanical engineering, so you can only apply for the post of a Technical Assistant or a Technician.

Yes, You can join ISRO after completing Mechanical Engineering:-

You can apply in ISRO Scientist posts after completing Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 65% marks in Mechanical Engineering is require to join in ISRO .

Age limit:-

Minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 29 years.

After completion of diploma in Mechanical Engineering, you can join in ISRO.

Those candidates who have completed diploma course with above 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible for ISRO entrance exam.

Eligible departments are,

Electronics & Communication engineering
Mechanical engineering
Computer Science & engineering
Chemical engineering
Electrical engineering

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years.
