What physical and mental ability is required to become an IPS officer? Can you please give me the right details and suggestions which I can follow to reach the level and be eligible to apply for the job? Hope that I will get the answer soon. Thanks!

Here are the physical and mental ability required for an IPS officer:
For Male candidates: Height: 165 cm Chest: Minimum 84 cm Eyesight: 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. For Female candidates: Height: 150 cm Chest: Minimum 79 cm Eyesight: Near vision J1 for good eye and J2 for worst eye. Bot candidates must have at least 5 cm chest expansion and you are expected to be mentally fit. |
