In-plant training by the term means training for a short period of time in an industry to gain the knowledge of the work culture. It is beneficial for students to gain a upper hand when they work in the company after graduates.

They will be acquainted with the industry and help them to work better in the environment. It is done by pre or final year students.

What Is In-Plant Traning -

To Get the practical knowledge of the students, the university insist the students to offer the in-plant training. In this training, students will have to study a problem in industrial perspective and submit the reports to the university.

The training period will be 4 to 6 weeks. Generally the students will go for their in-plant training during their semester vacations. Such in-plant training will provide an industrial exposure to the students as well as to develop their career in the high tech industrial requirements.

In-plant training is almost like internship program......it means having a practical knowledge of a particular concept clearly in a company.......SInce 3rd year plays a very vital role in career planning of a student......this in-plant training has a great advantage and even the certificate adds some points to the resume

IN Plant Training is designed to assist with in-service training of their employees, to provide entry-level skills for new employees, and to provide upgrading or retraining for current employees. In most cases this training can be done at the assigned work stations during normal working hours without hindering production. The instructors may be provided by the company.
what ever the theoretical knowledge u have learned in colleges must be helpful in practical training.in-plant training is nothing but practical training for students. students have to study a problem and submit the report to the college. generally the training period will be 8 weeks or two months. reputed companies are proving in plant training to students .they will be given accommodation and subsided lunch also. if the project or in plant training is completed it will be helpful during employment. companies offering are reddy labs.proctor and gamble, lupin labs, novartis, nacto pharma and there so-many companies. u r head of the department will give the project to u and arrange for in plant training.

Dear,

Third year students are not eligible for In-plant training.

Only Final year students are eligible for In-plant training.

For training, you may contact to the training & placement officer of your college and through your college you may contact to the personal department, where you want to do In-plant training.

The personal department helps & guide you regarding In-plant training, training schedule, training duration, training fee etc.

i just passed 1 st year b.tech in ece in VIT university, vellore.now i am entering second year.i heard BSNL is providing in-plant training for second and third years.but i have in-plant as a part of my cirriculam.so is the BSNL'S in-plant advisable?any advantages if i do that?pls reply.
