There are various Universities which offers Bachelor of Education [B.Ed] program through correspondence and their study center are located in various parts of the country including Ludhiana. The Eligibility criteria for admission to the program in most of the Universities are the same. Candidate must have completed the Bachelors degree program in any discipline from a recognized University beside holding a minimum of two years of teaching experience in any recognized School. The minimum duration of the program is two years.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University is one of the premiere Universities offering various correspondence course including B.Ed. The course Fee costs Rs. 17,400.
