What is the procedure to join nsg after polytechnic?

Selection procedure of NSG

ELIGIBILITY

** AGE < 30 years.

** Candidate mustn't be involved in any criminal activity.

** NSG are generally selected from

* Indian Defence Forces

* Para Military Forces

Also selection may be done from :

* Indo-Tibetian Border Police

* Border Security Force

* Sashastra Seema Bal

* Central Industrial Security Forces

You simply have to complete your graduation first and then apply for the CDS exam then you are eligible for the NSG.

You can also apply after your diploma. UPSC release so many related applications forms for NSG.

NSG stands for National Security Guard .

There is not any direct recruitment for NSG commandos.They are selected from Indian Defense Forces and Para Military Forces.So,anyone who wishes to become NSG has to first get selected into the Indian Defense Forces or Para Military Forces.

One can join Indian defense forces through NDA or CDS exam conducted by the UPSC .

The criteria which has to be fulfilled to get admission in NDA are following:-

-The candidate must be a citizen of India.

-Only unmarried male candidate can apply for the exam.

-The age limit for the candidate is 16.5 years to 19 years.

-The qualification required to join NDA is 12th class of 10+2 education system from a recognized board for Indian Military Academy and 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics for Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.

The eligibility criteria for CDS exam are as under:-

-The candidate must be an Indian.

-The qualification required for Indian Military Academy/Officer's Training Academy is Graduation in any discipline,Bachelor of Engineering for Indian Naval Academy and 10+2 level degree with Physics and Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering for Indian Air Force Academy.

-The candidate age should be in between 19 years to 25 years.

The candidates in Indian Defense Forces or Para Military Forces gets promoted to NSG based on their qualities of work or can join NSG after clearing the entrance exam of NSG. The candidate who qualify in the exam has to do 14 months training in Manesar.
