Internship is required in all the professional courses like engineering, medical and MBAs. This is required due to following reasons:

1. Professional courses does not require only getting a degree you need to have practical knowledge of the field you will be working in which you can get through internship.
2. It introduce you to potential future work environments
3. During internship you acquire important supplementary skills.
4. You get a chance to make contact with potential future employers make it easier for you to find work and get off to a good start in your career
5. Helps you in planning your studies
6. Work experience you gain during an internship will indicate how you should structure your future studies.
7. It will help you to decide what extra qualities and courses you need to grow in your field.
