You can apply for HM course after 12th class. You need to complete 12th class from a recognized board with 50% marks. Majority of the HM institutes conduct entrance exam so as to select eligible candidates in to this course. You will have to focus on subject areas like GK, General Science, Reasoning, language skills etc in order to qualify in this exam. Some of the reputed institutes where in you can apply for this course are Indian Institute of Hotel Management, National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology etc.
