The list of Qualifying Examination is given below:

Plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary examination of any recognised Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and Council for India School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

Intermediate or two-year Pre University Examination conducted by a recognised Board/University.

General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination conducted by a recognised Board/University.

High School Certificate Exam of the Cambridge University.

Any Board/University Exam in India or in foreign countries recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of the Senior Secondary Education.
H.S.C. Vocational Examination.

Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.

Eligibility for Hotel Management Course Admission:

Minimum qualification for admission is a pass certificate in the final examination of 10+2 system or its equivalent examination of any recognized Central/State Board.

Age Limit for Hotel Management Course:

22 years for General candidates.

25 years for SC/ST candidates

Physical Fitness for Hotel Management Course:

All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate form a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format given in the Information Brochure of the Council. Admission at the allotted Institute will be granted only if you are declared physically fit for pursuing the course of study.

If you want to do the 3 years Bachelors Level Hotel Management course than you should apply to the NCHMCT OR National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance test for the Hotel Management Course.


Eligibilty to apply for this written Test is:

Educational Qualifications: 12th Pass in any stream
English should be one of the subjects in class 12th


AGE- Max age to apply for the General and OBC candidates is 22 years
Only Candidates born on and after 1st July 1991 can apply
SC/ST candidates gets 3 years age relaxations



Questions will be asked from the below sections in the Hotel Management Entrance Exams
Numerical Ability and Scientific Aptitude
Reasoning and Logical Deduction

Hotel Management course after 12th is a 3 years Degree course.

For taking admission in Hotel Management Course,you will have to apply for All Indian Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination.This exam is conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology.After passing this course you will be able to take admission in :

• B.SC in Hospitality Management and Tourism(3 Years).
• B.SC in Hotel Management(3 Years).

Educational qualification required :

• Your minimum educational qualification should be 10+2 pass out in any discipline from recognized board/university.
• English should be your compulsory paper in 10+2.

Marks required :

• Minimum marks required by the General/OBC category candidates is 60%.
• Minimum marks required by the SC/ST category candidates is 50%.

Age Required :

• Age of General/OBC category candidates should not be above 22 years.
