Indian Police services (IPS) entrance exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). To become an IPS officer you need to appear and get qualified in Civil Service Exam.

Eligibility Criteria required for IPS Exam:-

► The Candidate should be a citizen of India.

► Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.

► Final year degree course students can also apply.

► Minimum age of candidates should be 21 years and Maximum should be 30 years.

► Candidates who belong to SC / ST Category will be relaxed in age up to 5 years and 3 years for OBC Candidates.

► Candidates should be physically as well as medically fit.

► The selection process is divided into three stages, Civil Service Aptitude Test, Main Exam and Interview.
