What is the question paper pattern for OTA students?


I just wanted to know how will be the question pattern for OTA students.

CDS stands for the Combined Defense Services, The entrance examination is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission.

This exam is conducted for selection of candidates to different academies of defense like:

>>Indian Military academy.

>>Indian Naval academy

>>Indian Airforce academy

>>Officer Training academy.

For IMA and OTA, you must have done bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university.

The age limit for OTA is 19-25 years. Both unmarried male and female candidates can apply for the exam.

CDS exam consists of two stage:

Written test

>> English: 120 questions of 100 marks

>>General knowledge: 120 question of 100 marks.

Hey There,

OTA stands for Officer Training Academy.

The question pattern for OTA examination are mentioned below:-

1. General Knowledge- 100 marks, 120 questions.

2. English Language- 100 marks, 120 questions.

To join OTA, first of all, u will have to be appear in CDS (Combined Defence Services) examination, which is conducted twice every year.

UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) conducts this examination for these following four wings, mentioned below:-

1. Indian Naval Academy.

2. Indian Military Academy.

3. Indian Air Force Academy.

4. Officer Training Academy.

The eligibility criteria required for the CDS examination for OTA are mentioned below:-

1. Completion of graduation degree from any recognised university.

2. Age Limit- 19-25 years.

3. Sex- Both male and female.

4. Marital Status- Single or unmarried.

5. Physically and mentally fit.

6. Nationality- Indian.
