Hi, I am very much interested in appearing for Odisha Administrative Service examination. So, can you tell about the minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for OAS? Any practical work experience is also required? When and how to apply for it? When is the upcoming exam?

To be eligible for Odisha Administrative Services exam, candidate must satisfy following eligibility criteria namely

• Age of the candidate must be between 21 and 32 years (i.e. DOB should be between 2 Jan 1985 and 1 Jan 1996).
• Candidate should have completed Bachelor's course from any recognized University.
• He/she must be citizen of India
• He/she must be able to read, write and speak Odia
• He/she should have passed Middle School, High School with Odia as medium of exam.
• He/she must have good mental and body health

No such practical experience is required to appear for this exam.

Note that this exam had already conducted from 5 July 2019 to 29 July 2019. Now, you will have to apply for this exam next year.

These are the requirements for Odisha Administrative Services(OAS):-

A) Graduation degree in any discipline from any reputed or recognised university.

B) age should be 21-32 years.

C) Knowledge of reading, writing and speaking Odiya language.

D) Indian Citizenship.

E) Contenders must have completed their middle education exam as Odiya medium of board.
