EAMCET stands for Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test which is held once every year by JNTU for admission in undergraduate courses of relevant field in colleges of Hyderabad and Teleganna.

Yes there is provision of reservation of 15% seats for SC ( Scheduled Caste ) candidates for their upliftment as any other entrance examination. Apart from reservation the same category is also provided with the relaxation in qualifying marks for the same examination.

Also as far as you are concerned about the weightage of board marks in the EAMCET, then certainly there is as EAMCET ranks are declared on considering the marks in both board examination and EAMCAT. The weightage of board examination is 25% where as that of marks in EAMCET is 75%.
