Eligibility for SBI-
candidate should be 12th pass with 60% or be graduate from recognized university. SC/ST candidate should be 12th pass with 55% or be graduate from recognized university. Exam syllabus- General Awareness Marketing/banking Computer Knowledge Quantitative Aptitude English Reasoning Exam Date- 07-10-12 and 14-10-12 |

The eligibility criteria for SBI clerical exam :-- *The candidates should be 10+2 pass from a recognize university . or The graduate candidates can also apply for this exam. *The age limit is 18 - 28 yrs. *There is a relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates. The syllabus for this exam are as follows........ 1.General Awareness – There would be around 40 questions related to general knowledge. The candidates should prepare for the following topics. General Awareness topics – Science and Technology, Economy, Important Awards & Honors, Current national and international Events, Computer Knowledge, Banking Knowledge, Commissions, Appointments, Resignations, Sport, prominent personalities and Polity. 2.English Language – This section will also consist of 40 questions. English Language Topics – General Grammar, Antonyms, Synonyms, Comprehension of a Passage, Sentence Completion and Vocabulary. 3.Quantitative Aptitude – The quantitative section is vast and it will also have 40 questions. Quantitative Aptitude Topics – decimals and fractions, whole numbers, relationship between numbers, Ratio & Proportion, HCF & LCM, Simplification, Profit & Loss, Time and Work, Percentage, Partnership, Simple Interest, Time and Distance, Compound Interest, Permutations & Combination’s, Number Series, Probability, Approximate Values, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency and so on. 4.Reasoning Ability – 40 questions from this section is as under. Reasoning Ability Topics – symbols and their relationships, Arithmetical computation, decision making, verbal and figure classification, verbal and non-verbal, analytical functions, space visualization, judgment, problem* solving, discrimination, arithmetical number series, visual memory, observation, arithmetical reasoning, relationship concepts, differences, analysis, similarities, analogies, etc. 5. – Generally there would be 40 questions, 20 from Computer knowledge and 20 from marketing aptitude. Computer Knowledge Topics – Operating and DOS, Introduction of Computer and History, Computer Device, Security Aspects for PC, PC and System Software, Advanced Technology Regarding Computer, MS Word, Various Uses of Computer, MS Excel, Internet Programming Language, Computer Net work, Computer of Future, , E world, Window etc. |

you are going to appear in sbi clerk examination.Then I want to tell you that you should choose a good book for study.In a good book you have found all study material as per your current syllabus. previous papers and many valuable material is maintained in these books. Kiran's sbi clerical book,Upkar publication etc.. for reasoning R.S. aggrawal book is the best book. you have to a hard work to get success. SBI Selection Process is based on Performance in Written exam and interview together. SBI Clerk exam has 5 sections of General Awareness Quantitative Aptitude Reasoning Ability General English and Marketing/Computer. it is the complete structure and pattern of SBI Clerk Question Paper 2012 and Syllabus General Awareness-40 marks-40 questions Quantitative Aptitude-40 marks-40 questions Reasoning Ability-40 marks-40 questions General English-40 marks-40 questions Marketing/Computer Knowledge-40 marks-40 questions Total Number of questions-200 Total Marks-200 Type of Questions-Objective Negative Marks-0.25 Interview process: After clearing the written exam,sbi called for interview to the qualified candidates in the ration of 1:3,so here for each job,3 members will be face interview.For written exam,sbi will announce cut-off score later.And you have to qualify in all sections,if any section not cleared,result will be failed.So you have to clear all sections. here is the ctual syllabus for the sbi clerk exam.. The written test will be of Objective type consisting of (i) General Awareness (ii) General English (iii) Quantitative Aptitude (iv) Reasoning Ability (v) Marketing Aptitude / Computer Knowledge. The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be printed bilingual i.e., English & Hindi. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.. prepare well.. best of luck.. |
