please suggest me the book for the preparation of SBI Clerk exam. And detailed syllabus regarding Quantitative Aptitude in SBI Clerk Exam?

Recently SBI has announced notification for the recruitment of Clerks for 9500 positions. Hence, there is a more scope for the candidates to get Clerk job in SBI who are aspiring it.

The selection procedure for SBI Clerk Job is by
-Written Exam
-Interview

The written exam consists of questions from the following categories
-Reasoning
-Quantitative Aptitude
-General Awareness
-General English
-Computer Knowledge

For Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude, the best book to use is R.S.Agarwal publications.

You can also prepare UPKAR publications for Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.

For General Awareness, I suggest you to use YES publications and Mahindra publications monthly magazine.

You can also prepare for BSC (Banking Services Chronicle).

For General English also, you can use R.S.Agarwal publications. Otherwise, you can prepare any book which is available in the market and which is having good number of exercises on Vocabulary, Comprehension and Grmmar aspects.

Candidate must have a passed their 12th examination with any discipline or equivalent qualification from a recognized School and must secure at least 60% aggregate marks for General and OBC candidates ( 55% marks for SC/ST/PWD/XS) OR graduate degree from a recognized Institution .

Candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 28 years . Upper age limits is applicable for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories . 5 years :: SC/ST , 3 years :: OBC and 10-13 years :: PWD candidate

SBI Clerical Pattern consist of :: Written exam and Personal Interview .
