IPS stands for Indian Police Service. IPS exam is conducted by UPSC.

The minimum educational qualifications required is bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year students are also eligible for IPS exam. The candidate's age should be in between 21 years to 30 years.

The maximum attempts for Sc/ST candidate's is Unlimited. For OBC candidate's it is 7 years and for general candidate's it will be 5 years.

2014 IPS exam date already over so you can wait for 2015 CSAT exam. It will be published very soon.

Important Dates for IPS Entrance Exam 2014:-
  • Date of Examination :- 24/Aug/2014
  • Form Notice Date: 30/May/2014
  • Form Submission Date: 30/Jun/2014

This year IPS entrance exam is already completed. Please wait for next notification, which will be updated on the official website of UPSC and Employment news paper. The notification will be released during the month of May.
