What are the scope and career growth opportunities with GATE in Mathematics branch?
I have completed my B.Tech in Production Engineering. Now I want to attempt GATE examination in Mathematics paper. What will be my future scope after clearing this examination in Mathematics paper?

If you are looking for pursuing M.Tech in IITs or NITs, then appear for GATE exam in Production and Industrial.
But if you are looking for getting job in PSU, then you must appear for GATE exam in Mechanical Exam. Just because, PSUs don't consider GATE scores of Production and Industrial engineering. After giving GATE in ME, if your AIR is approx. 600-700, then you can try for PSUs jobs. While if your rank is above 2000, then you can try for M.Tech admission programmes in IITs, NITs. |
