What is the scope and career growth opportunities with degree in Geology?


Hi, I am BE in Civil Engineering and ME in Geotechnical Engineering. I am Assistant Professor in an Engineering college. As I have keen interest in Geology so, can I do M.Sc in Geology from Pune University? How is the scope of such streaming?

Economic geology
Geochemistry
Marine geology
Engineering geology
Volcanology
Structure geology
Geomorphology

The job opportunities for geologists are increasing day by day. After getting the degree from reputed institute or University, you can work both in domestic as well as international arena.
