Normally every student before entering in this field think about jobs that whether his future is secure or not . As even after passing 12th they dont know in which field they have to go. so i want to know about scope of mechanical e[FONT="Lucida Console"][/FONT]ngineers after b-tech...

Scope of mechanical engineering in INDIA is really promissing.

machenical engineering is a very vast subject,it is known as the creator of modern engineering fields like-aeronautical,marine engineerings etc.

It has many branches viz
automobile,tool & machinery etc.

after completing your b.tech in (mechanical engiineering) you will be able to get job in automobile industries,tool & machine manufacturing companies,petroleum and oil industries,power plants,in robotics field etc.

dont worry there is lots of oppurtunities waiting for you after completing it.

dear the scope of mechanical engineer is and was always ever green.....its probably the the best field of engineering.......almost every company needs a mechanical engineer.......
during placements in college mechanical engineers are the first priority and they get job much easily as compared to other fields........

even production is not bad.....it is sesn during placement times that when a company selects 3 mech engineers then along with then they will take a production engineer...so like this they also get placed in reputer farms.........

so go fot it............

it is better to do a post graduation degree like m.tech or get specialized in some field before going for as job.

there is good demand for machanical engineers,
due to growth in the automobile industry the demand is going to increase for sure.

Scope of mechanical engineers is vast and good both in india and other foreign countries.There are many areas within the scope of mechanical engineering which include transportation, power generation, energy conversion, climate control, machine design, manufacturing and automation. It is an evergreen stream and as far as atleast the present and the next four years are concerned the mech engg are in demand and are given a good package.

you can opt for ME OR MTECH for higher studies in mechanical engineering,mechanical engineering comprises a wide range of activities including research, development, design, testing, manufacturing and production, operations and maintenance, and marketing and sales.As it is a core engineering branch so you have lots of government job opportunities.you can work as a entry-level position in conceptual design, systems engineering, manufacturing, or product research and development.

in india there is vast scope of mechanical engineers....every company even softwares also recruits mechanical engineers..u can get job easily than any other branch,,also there are plenty of government jobs in government companies...also public sector jobs....i m also mechanical engineer yaar....go for it and expierence the difference..

Mechanical engineering is a evergreen department... wherever a man power needs there stands a mechanical engineer... so its better to take mechanical than any other...

hey don't you ever worry if you are doing mechanical engineering,because it is the evergreen branch of engineering.you have a lots of scope in your field from core companies to software companies.you can also go for higher studies an go in research field.

Mechanical engineering has very good scope.it has many branches.nad today nothing is bad,sir.u can go to public and private sectors also .there are many recuitments for mechanical engineering in metro n many companies like maruti. So dont think too much about it. Jst go n do it by ur 100%.everything will be fine.

mechanical engineering has got a very good scope provided you get good marks and stay one among the top ten.

mechanical engineers can get jobs in in every fiel and every companies.there are so many options for them even in government jobs

No I dont agree that Mechanical Engineering is an evergreen department these days as one of my cousin is a mechanical engineer and he is facing problems in getting job, the number of vaccanicies for this post is very less in market. So i wouldn't suggest you to go for mechanical engineer but would suggest you to go for MBA or M.Tech.

mechanical engineering is better option if you are good in graphics then catia can get you to field of robotics jobs are ther for talented mechanical engineers only this field has got a lot more to go on ......

i would know about the scope of manufacturing enginering. after completing the b.e from this department can we go in marine & army,navy or airforce.

this is a simple question .. mechanical engineers are doing marvellous job now a days future scope for mechanical engineers is also good as large automobile industries are being launched

Scope for mechanical engineering is very in goverment , public sectors and private enterprises. Ies,railway,ntpc,sail ,bhel,tata motors,tata steel,ongc and many other companies recruit mechanical engineers.

scope of mechanical engineering is vast enough. It is said that mechanical is an evergreen stream because there are always some chances of jobs in it. Even government jobs are most probable for mechanical engineers.
