MBBS degree offers good scope in the field of medical science. Courses like BAMS, BHMS and B.F.Sc will be good. Siddha and Ayurvedic courses are highly demanded now days. Courses in fisheries and dairy science can also be selected. There courses offer adequate opportunities for higher studies also.

As you had completed your +2 with Physics , Chemistry and Biology as your main subjects you can for Medical field to start your Career. There are different streams in Bi.P.C stream where you can get good pay and have a bright future.

1. M.B.B.S ( Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery ) :

It is one of the field where considered as one of the most respectful course in India. A Doctor is the one who Diagnose and cure the patients. The total duration of the course in India is 4 years with 1 1/2 Internship where you will be posted in different General Hospital for the treatment of Patients.

2. B.D.S ( Bachelor in Dental Science ) :

In this field the Doctor is related to disorders of Face and Mouth mainly deals with different Dental problems. The total duration of the course is 4 years and 1 year Internship it is also one of the popular field where many young aspirants go for it after their +2 completion.

3. B.V.S ( Bachelor in Veterinary Sciences ) :

In this you become an Animal Doctor and there is good scope for getting Government jobs in India with your BVS qualification.

4. B.H.M.S ( Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicinal Science ) :

you will become an Homeopathic Doctor where you used to treat Patients for several problems with Traditional Medicines.

5. B.A.M.S ( Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicinal Science ) :

you are going to solve the Medical problems for Patients with Natural Medicines available naturally.

6. B.Pharmacy :

It is one of the field apart from becoming a Doctor you will be studied about the Manufacturing of Drugs and placed in Pharmaceutical Industries.

7. D.Pharmacy :

8. Pharm D :

This is the New field introduced in the Pharma field where the duration of the course is 6 years you will be awarded with a Doctorate and you placed on Clinical side where mainly deals with Adjusting and Checking the Dosage forms of Drugs given to the patients.

In order to do MBBS Course you will have to appear in CBSE NEET Exam.
In order to appear in this Exam,you will have to fulfill these Eligibility:-

Educational Qualification:-

>>You must be passed out in 10+2 from Recognized Board/University.
>>You must be passed out in Physics,Chemistry & Biology.

Age :-

>>Your minimum age should be 17 years.
>>Your age should not be above 25 years.

Marks:-

>>If you belong from the General category then your minimum marks should be 50%.
>>If you belong from the SC/ST/OBC then your minimum marks should be 40%.

Exam Pattern:-

Questions in this exam will be from Physics,Chemistry & Biology.It will be objective type.

Physics - Total number of questions will be 45.
Chemistry - Total number of questions will be 45.
Biology(Botany & Zoology) - Total number of questions will be 90.

Total duration of this Exam will be 03 hours.

If you would be well aware that once a candidate is passed out of Class 10th, then there are 3 choices of streams given to her which are :-

SCIENCE
COMMERCE
ARTS

So Science is the one which deals with Engineering and Medical Education. If you have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics then its the NON MEDICAL STREAM, But if you have Biology in place of Maths or along with maths then its the MEDICAL STREAM!

Now talking of this, to become a doctor a student has to pass the AIPMT - All India Pre Medical Test. This is to ensure that he/she has the potential to become a good doctor. Its very tough and only academically thorough students can pass it well..

After that MBBS course has to be taken up which is a graduation course and the first step towards becoming a doctor. Its a FULL TIME 5 years course that has to be taken up.. But this is not the end. You have to do any specialization after that which would take another 2-3 years. Thus after that you would become a doctor..

But still you cannot practice medicine on your own even then. You have to work as an intern under reputed and qualified and experienced doctors in big hospitals for 2-3 years. Only after which you would be becoming a full fledged doctor and can even open up your own clinic and practice..

The scope is HUGE and tremendous provided you are ready for a long academic career..
