i want to know scope of NET and JRF. how much we can earn??

Lakshmi,JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (JRF) is conducted by CSIR for aspiring candidates to join various colleges in India, with fellowship and scholarship money, Here many students of JRFs are awarded each year by CSIR to those holding MSc or equivalent degree, with minimum 55% marks after qualifying the National Eligibility Test ( NET).

This exam is conducted twice a year in June and December.

Basic Eligibility:-

>>Must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC

in following branches:-

*Humanities (including languages) and Social Science
*Computer Science & Applications
* Electronic Science etc.

>> For SC candidates you must have secured at least 50% marks.

Scope of this exam is that you get chance for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors in Universities/ Colleges/Institution.

HOW TO APPLY:-

>> Download the Bank Challan Performa from the website and deposit the test fee in any branch of State Bank of India (bank charges Rs.20/-).

>> You must also have these with you:-
i) Scanned passport size photograph in JPEG format of less than 300 kb
ii) Copy of Bank Challan.

>>For December it is over, you can apply for june 2013,keep updating for notice in the main website:http://ugcnetonline.in/index.php

SCHEME OF THE EXAM:-
There will be two sections of paper:

First I 100 60 out of which 50 question to be attempted
First II 100 50 questions all are compulsory
Second III 150 75 questions all are compulsory
