hello friend !
net is the exam named as national eligibility test . it is held each year for the posting in the degree colleges as professor. you can give this exam after completing your post graduation in that particular subject applying for in this exam. for the preparation of this exam you need to learn your post graduation syllabus. JRF is junior research fellowship. you can get stipend also after clearing the exam JRF. |

UGC conducts the JRF & NET exam every year in the month of June & December.NET exam is for the lecturership in various colleges & JRF is for getting Lecturership & Junior Research Fellowships both.The eligibility criteria is as under-
1. A candidate must passed HIS post Graduation with 55% marks. 2. For the JRF the maximum age limit is 28 years.But for lecturership there is no such age limit. Tips for preparation for this exam- 1. As paper-1 is a common objective based so you must have a knowledge of all the subjects.For this you can take the help of Various books available in the market for NET exams. 2. Paper 2 & Paper 3 are based on your Post graduation syllabus.So its better for you to go through it deeply & Learn the concepts at your tips. |

hello sir , i wil complete my m.ph in pharmacology within july.. i have got an offer for research fellow which is termed to complete within 3 years..but then i want to do phd.... will being a research fellow help me getting into phd without clearing any entrance exams??

NET and JRF exam is conducted by UGC NET- National eligibility test for lectureship JRF- Junior research fellow for research scolar Candidate must have a master degree in its area of interest. percentage of mark to be obtained is 55% for general, 50 % for sc/st Exam is conducted in the month of JUNE and DECEMBER every year. JRF Stands for Junior Research Fellowship. JRF is a part of NET Examination. NET Exam have two parts. Here is the Details of NET Exam => NET - National Eligibility Test. NET Exam is Conduct by UGC ( University Grant Commission ). UGC Conduct NET Exam Twice in a Year. The examination is Conducted in June and December Every Year. Required Qualifications for NET ::- Education::- you have to complete your Post graduate degree course with Minimum 55% marks. 5% relaxation in Percentage for SC/ST, OBC Candidates. Final year Post graduate candidates are also eligible for NET Exam. Age Limit::- For Lectureship Post : Your Age Must Above 19 years & There is no Upper age Restriction. For Junior Research Fellowship : Your age must Between 19 to 28 years for JRF. Upper Age Relaxation is Allowed for SC/ST, OBC candidates as Per rules of Govt.
