What should be the age of candidate to be eligible to appear for 10th CBSE Board exams?
Can a boy whose date of birth is 7th March, 2007 is eligible to appear for 10th final Board exams under CBSE Board's curriculum in the academic year 2021?

The minimum age required to appear in CBSE Class 10th board examination is 14 years by the 1st October of that year in which the candidate has got admitted to his/her Class 10th.
So, a boy born on 07.03.2007 in not eligible to appear in CBSE Class 10th board examination 2021, as his age will be under 14 years as on the 1st October of 2020 (the year in which the boy got admitted to his Class 10th). The age limit criteria to appear in CBSE 10th board examination is not decided by the board.
It is the directorate of state education which determines the age limit criteria. So, you can visit the concerned office or at school to get the correct information. |
