what should i do after bsc....i'm doing simple bsc. i'm not doing bsc with agriculture not with any coursese.that's why i'm worried about this.I want to do msc biotech but i'm little confused so plz help me out. alka singh

After the completion of the Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] General, you can look to pursue M.Sc in Biotechnology. The minimum eligibility criteria for pursuing the program is graduation in Life Science with a minimum of 50% to 60% aggregate marks, depending upon the University or Institute of concern. The duration of the program is two years.

Some of the other post graduate degree program, you can look to pursue in the same stream are as follows:

• M.Sc in Microbiology
• M.Sc in Biochemistry
• M.Sc in Botany
• M.Sc in Zoology
• M.Sc in Physics
• M.Sc in Chemistry
• M.Sc in Hotel Management
• M.Sc in Interior Design
• M.Sc in Fashion Design

Some of the program related to other streams which you can look to pursue given you fulfill the admission criteria are:

• Master of Business Administration [MBA]
• Master of Computer Application [Maths in the +2][MCA]
• Bachelor of Education [B.Ed]
• LLB [3 years]

There are many government jobs available after Biotechnology .There are lots of government companies which hires students in the following areas:

Drug and pharmaceutical research
Energy
Food processing
Public funded laboratories
Chemicals
Environment control
Waste management
Bio-processing industries.

You can also apply for the Lectureship jobs after completing your Msc in Biotechnology .For this you have to apply for the NET exam which is conducted by UGC.You can apply for this exam only if you have got more then 55% marks in the examination .

You can also become teacher by applying for the TET exam which is commonly known as Teacher eligibility test .You can teach students of class ranging from 1 to 12th .This examination is conducted to select students who have completed Bed in any of the following post ::

Class 1 to v
Class VI to VII
Class VIII to XII


There are many central government jobs are also available for you like ::

Civil service
CDSE
Sub inspector
CBI

To apply for these post you must have completed your graduation .

after bsc you can do msc. but you also do mca, mba also.

what to do after b.sc in agriculture?if i have interest in economics.

How much salary at last expect after bsc?

You can get job in India and abroad also. there are job opportunities for an agriculture candidate. Agriculture is an emerging field in most of the foreign countries. Aspirants in this field have great career scope abroad. They can get placed in various under takings there. They can work in a lot of work profiles in various ventures abroad. Most of the foreign countries are of great demand for B.Sc in Agriculture graduates. They are paid very good salary packages as well. There are various short term and long term certification courses, which can be done so as to improve their over all job prospectus.

After Completion of B.Sc you need to Do M.Sc or MCA or MBA for Post Graduation

Other Than That you are Eligible for all Government Jobs threw your Degree B.Sc Like:

for M.Sc Agriculture or M.Sc Biotechnology you need to have following eligibility

B.Sc. (Hons.) with minimum 50% marks in Bio-science/Agriculture/related subjects OR B.Sc. (General: 3-year degree) in Bio-Science/Agriculture/related subjects with minimum 55% marks.
