What should I do to become a Custom Officer after completing BTech?
Respected Sir, I am studying in 2nd year of BTech and there is a lot of confusion after what next after BTech. My aim is to become a Custom Officer. Kindly tell me what I have to do for becoming a Custom Officer?

You will become eligible to appear for Custom Officer recruitment examination after completion of the bachelor degree.
Candidates have to appear and qualify in Civil Service examination conducted by UPSC for final selection. The examination is conducted in three stages. Final year candidates are eligible to apply for the examination. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

°°° Of course, you can become Custom Officer after completing your Btech.
You just need to write an exam called Combined Graduate Level exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission. Combined Graduate Level Examination is consist of Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III. OR You can get a job in Central and excise department through civil services exam. Civil Services Exam is conducted by UPSC. |

Candidate who have completed their bachelor degree from a recognized institute are eligible to apply for the Custom officer post .
The qualifying degree must be obtained in any stream with minimum 55% marks. You can go through CSAT examination to get the role of Customs Officer under Indian Customs and Central Excise Service (IC&CES). |

Now, you are not eligible to appear for Civil Service examination. It is conducted by UPSC.
The eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in final year of the bachelor degree course. The age limit is 21-32 years. So, you will become eligible to appear in the examination in final year of bachelor degree. Examination is conducted in three stages. For more information visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

To achieve your aim of becoming Custom officer, you have to appear and qualify in Civil Service examination.
The examination is conducted in three stages. Candidates after qualifying in all three stages become eligible for final selection. Aspirants who have completed their bachelor degree with 55% from a recognized institute are eligible to apply for the customer officer .
Age limit:- 18-25 years **You can be a customer officer as -Preventive Officer -Central Excise Inspector -Examiner of Indian Customs -Assistant Commissioner **In order to become a Customs Officer, the aspirants will have to appear for the Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC. |
