What should I do? I'm serving as a head clerk and I have applied for advocate in court? Will I have to resign my present job?


It is big question to me,
I'm serving as a head clerk,
To apply for registration as a Advocate in Court
I will have to resign present job and then on I can be registered
At such a moment what shall I do
Please guide

Yes, if you want to practice as an advocate, you cannot work as regular employee in public or private sector.

So, if you are head clerk, then cannot practice as advocate as per The Advocates Act 1961.
