What should I do to join NDA after completion of 12th with Biology?
What should I do to join NDA after completion of 12th with Biology? Can you please suggest me the next steps which we need to follow? What is the admission procedure followed for applying to NDA? Hope I will get the answer soon.

You can appear in NDA Indian Army examination even if you have completed 12th standard with Biology but, you are not eligible to appear in NDA Indian Navy and Air Force examinations. To be eligible to appear in NDA Indian Navy and Air Force examinations, you must have completed 12th standard with Mathematics and Physics subjects from a recognised board. So, you are eligible to appear only in NDA Indian Army examination.

After completion of 12th with Biology, you can apply for Indian Military Academy of NDA.
NDA stands for National Defense Academy. It has three wings; Indian Military Academy. Indian Naval Academy. Indian Air Force Academy. UPSC conducts this exam twice a year for recruiting personnel to different wings of NDA. Eligibility criteria for NDA exam :- Nationality : Indian. Edu. qualification : 10+2 for Indian Military Academy and 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics for Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy. Age limit :16.5 years to 19.5 years. Marital Status : Unmarried male candidate only. Physical requirements : Height : Must not be less than 157.5 cms. Weight : should be in proportionate with height. Chest: Must not be less than 81 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms. Eye Sight : 6/6 in both eyes . Selection process : Written examination Personal interview by SSB. |

To join National Defence Academy, a candidate must have passed 12th with physics, chemistry and mathematics as the main subjects. As you are a Biology student hence you are not eligible to appear in this exam after completion of class 12th with biology. The minimum age required to appear in this exam is 16 and half years to 19 years.

You are not eligible to join National Defence Academy after passing 12th with medical stream because minimum qualification required to appear in this test is 12th with non medical stream with minimum 50% marks from recognised board. The candidate who is interested to join defence field can appear in the CDS exam after passing graduation from recognised University.

You can apply for NDA after completion of (10+2) with biology subject. You can apply for army wing.
NDA Eligibility - You must be unmarried male. - You must have passed (10+2) for Army wing and (10+2) in science stream with PCM as a main subjects for Naval & Air Force wings. - Your born should not be earlier than 2nd july , 1997 & not later than 1st july , 2000. Application Procedure - Visit the site : upsconline.nic.in - Click "Online Application". - Fill the registration part-1 & registration part-2 in application online. - Make a fee payment. - Upload photograph & signature online. - Submit the application. NDA Exam Pattern - Maths : 300 Marks (2.5 Hours) - General Ability : 600 Marks (2.5 Hours) NDA Important Dates - Online Application Starts : 02/01/2016 - Last Date to Apply : 29/01/2016 - NDA Exam : 17/04/2016 |
