Procedure for NDA exam:-

1.Written test
2.Physical test
3.Medical
4.Interview

Written test is conducted by UPSC but other 3 steps are conducted by SSB.

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.

The candidate's who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Notification for NDA exam-

Date of Notification: 27th December 2014
Last date for submission of application: 23rd January 2015
Date of Examination: 19th April 2015

Candidates are required to apply online by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in

NDA (National Defence Academy) is conducted two times every year i.e., NDA-I and NDA-II.
NDA is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

NDA has three wings:

. Indian Army
. Indian Navy
. Indian Air Force

To join NDA you need to fulfill the following eligibility.

Eligibility Criteria for join NDA:

. Candidates must be Citizen of India.

. Age Limit: 16 ½ to 19 yrs as of first day of the month in which course is due to commence.

. Qualification: 12th Class of 10+2 System of Education/Equivalent for Army and with Physics and Maths for AF/Navy

. Marital Status : Unmarried

. Only Male Candidates are eligible.

NDA Selection Procedure:

1. Written examination

2. SSB

3. Medical test

4. Interview

To join in NDA after completion of your 12th standard from a recognised board, you need to appear in NDA examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. Eligibility criteria required to appear in NDA examination is mentioned below :-

2. You must have completed 12th standard or equivalent in any stream from a recognised university.

3. You must be in between 16 1/2 to 19 years old.

4. You must be an Unmarried Male candidate.

5. You must be Physically and Mentally fit.

Selection Process :-
1. Written Test
2. Personal Interview

Candidates who have qualified written test will be called for Interview round and those who perform well in this round will be finally selected into National Defence Academy.

To join National Defence Academy a candidate must appear in the entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi, twice a year

-Recruitment of candidates to army, navy and air force wings of NDA is through NDA entrance exam which is held twice a year,generally in the month of march and august.
-The candidate should be a citizen of India.
-The candidate must be an unmarried male.The candidate age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.
-Candidate must have passed 12th class of 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent exam conducted by state education board or university.
Procedure for selection in NDA exam is written exam,SSB, medical test and the last is interview.

I have completed 12th in mcvc electronics so how can i join NDA & what is the scope for me in NDA.
