Sir, I want to join Indian Railways as a Train Loco Pilot (Train Driver). What should I study for this? Do I need to study Diploma or ITI? Which specialization can I opt in Diploma or ITI for Loco Pilot? Or, is there any short term certificate courses available for Train Loco Pilot?

To be eligible for joining Indian Railways as a Loco Pilot, you can pursue either Diploma course or ITI course.

If you are looking to pursue Diploma course, then you can choose branches like Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.

While if you are looking to pursue ITI course, then you can choose branches like Fitter, Electrician, Mechanic, etc.

Age limit to apply for Loco pilot job is 18 to 30 years.
