What should be the minimum qualification to apply for JRF?

Am I eligible for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) after completing my M.Sc in Dietetics & Food Service Management (DFSM) from IGNOU? If yes, then when and how can I apply for JRF?

To apply for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) examinations, you are required to have completed your Master's degree in concerned discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate ( or 50% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST and PH category candidates) from a recognized university.

So, having completed your M.Sc. degree from IGNOU, you are eligible to join JRF programs if your marks in M.Sc. degree is 55% ( or 50% in case of SC/ST and PH candidates ).

Further, to join as JRF, you need to qualify NTA NET held twice every year by NTA and for updates regarding the same examination, you can refer to the link www.ntanet.ac.in.
