What should be the minimum qualification to become a teacher in government primary schools?

I have completed my graduation from distance mode of education and my B.Ed via regular mode of education. Now, can I apply for teacher post in government primary schools?

You are eligible to appear for the teacher recruitment examination and after qualifying in the examination will become eligible for selection.

The examination is conducted by NTA for recruitment in central government school and by state government for recruitment in state service.

The age limit criteria varies with state. So, visit the official website to get the detail .

You are eligible for recruitment examination and after qualifying in the examination eligible for final selection.

The required eligibility for the selection is that :-

Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board.

Candidates also possess B.Ed or diploma in education qualification.

So, after the qualifying in the examination, you will become eligible for final selection.

NTA conduct CTET for recruitment of candidates in government school.

The eligibility for recruitment in Primary recruitment is that candidate must have passed minimum std 12th and have Diploma in Education or Bachelor in Education qualification.

So, you are eligible to appear for the examination and after qualifying in the examination will become eligible for final selection.

As per your qualification, you are eligible to appear in the examination.
