What should be the minimum score in Maths and Physics to be eligible to join IAF?
When I checked it's necessary to have 60% or above 60% marks in plus two to join Indian Air Force. I have 65% above marks in my BE degree. Is it necessary to have 60% or above 60% marks in Physics and Maths in plus two to appear in AFCAT exam and join Air Force?

Yes, it is mandatory to have minimum 60 marks in each of the physics and mathematics paper in std 12th to become eligible to appear for the AFCAT after bachelor degree with minimum 60% aggregate.
So, if you have scored less in the intermediate than you are not eligible to appear in the examination. |

Re: What should be the minimum score in Maths and Physics to be eligible to join IAF?
AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test.
Through AFCAT, you can join any of the following three branches:
If you are planning to join Flying Branch, then you must have secured at least 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics each in 10+2 standard. Along with this, you should have secured at least 60% marks in B.E./B.Tech. Similarly, for Technical Branch, you should have secured at least 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level. However, for joining Non-Technical branch, there is no such percentage requirement of 10+2 standard. |
