what are the subjects in graduation in eco-honours for a commerce student?

HI,

Students from any stream can pursue Economics honors.

Arts, student can pursue B.A (Economics) provide that they has Economic Geography/ Applied Mathematics/Economics or other related field as one of the main subject.

Commerce, student can pursue B.com (Economics) provided that they had Economics/Business Mathematics/Pure Mathematics/Economic Geography as one of the main subject.

Science, student can pursue B.sc (Economics) provided that they had Mathematics as one of the main subject.

This is general eligibility criteria ,however it also depends upon particular Admitting institute.

yes, math is compulsory for economics honours.

as there are many mathematical terms and formulas are present in economics subject. for understanding and solving it you have to know some mathematical tactics.

In the first year you will see there are four sub parts of your honors subjects. Paper IA is microeconomics, Paper IB is macroeconomics. Paper IIA is eco statistics and paper IIB is economical mathematics.

Besides these you also have to study the pass subjects depending on what you choose. Mathematics is compulsory if it is a B.Sc degree. Then you can choose statistics, political science, education and even some colleges offer physics as well.

I think you need Maths, Economics, Accounts, English, and Business Studies in class XII... If you don't have Maths, then IP will do.
