I want to know syallbus of food inspector and qualification

Food Inspector Exam is conducted by Food Corporation of India.

In order to appear for this exam you will require the following eligibility:-

Educational qualification:-

>>You must be Graduation Pass out from any stream.
>>If you have completed your degree from Distance mode then your degree should be approved from the DEC(Distance Educational Council).

Age details:-

>>Your minimum age should be 21 years.
>>Your age should not be above 28 years.

If you have cross the age limit then you will able to get the Age relaxations if you comes under the Reserved Category.

Its details are as follows:-

>>If you comes under the SC/ST category then you will get 5 years of age relaxations.

>>If you comes under the OBC category then you will get 3 years of age relaxations.

Exam Pattern:-

>>Quantitative Aptitude.
>>Numerical ability + Data interpretation.
>>English Grammar.
>>General Knowledge.

Total number of questions will be 200.
Total number of question per section will be 50.
Total duration for this exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :--

QUALIFICATIONS :--

Minimum qualifying marks for candidates of all categories will be 35% of the total marks.
In case some qualifying candidates obtain equal marks then for selection, preference will be given
to a candidate with higher score in graduation degree.


SYLLABUS & EXAM PATTERN :---


Written Test Pattern:

The test will have 150 Questions of one mark each.


1) HINDI Language (13 Marks)
2) English Language (12 Marks)
3) General Knowledge (25 Marks)
4) Mental Ability (50 Marks)
5) Mathematical Skills (50 Marks)


Selection Process:

The department will make selections ONLY on the basis of written examination & INTERVIEW .
The question paper will have a difficulty level of upto class 10.
