What is the syllabus for IPS? How can I prepare myself for it?


can u please tell me the syllabus of I.P.S ??? how can i prepare my self for this exam??

Selection of candidates is made through prelims, mains, (conducted by UPSC) and interview. There are two papers for prelims exam. Questions on current events, History, Indian/World Geography, Indian Polity, etc are asked for paper I. In paper II, there include questions on English language, comprehension, logical reasoning, mental ability, and so on. In mains exam, there are nine papers, including optional and language paper. You can start exam preparation after collecting detailed exam syllabus from UPSC portal. Reference books and previous year’s questions can be used for studies.
