What is the upper age limit to become a Government High School Teacher?

Hi, I am a female candidate and my date of birth is 18th February, 1982. Am I fit for the post of Teacher in Government High Schools? Is there any upper age limitation? Is there any age relaxation for female candidates?

Default Re: What is the upper age limit to become a Government High School Teacher?

Since, your DOB is 18th February, 1982 so your age is around 37 years.

As per govt. norms and guidelines, upper age limit for government teacher is 40 years.

Hence, you can become Govt. Teacher since your age has not crossed 40 years of upper age limit.
  • Age limit for Primary Teacher: 30 years
  • Age limit for Trained Graduate Teachers: 35 years
  • Age limit for Post Graduate Teachers: 40 years
  • 5 years relaxation for SC/ST category teachers.
  • No age limit for KV sangathan employees.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
