What is the upper age limit for TET examination in the state of Punjab?

Hi, I am presently 44 years old and a Central Government employee. I wish to apply and write the TET exam in the state of Punjab. Am I eligible at this age? Is there any relaxation for government employees? What is the normal upper age limit?

TET is Teaching Eligibility Test.
There is no age limit for candidates to apply for TET although minimum age limit is 17 years.
Yes, you can apply for two TET exam
1. CTET - this TET exam is held by the central government and after clearing this exam one can get a government teaching job in any state in India.
2. PSTET -this TET exam is held by the state government of Punjab and after clearing this exam one can get a government teaching exam in Punjab.
The minimum qualifying marks for both CTET and PSTET is 90/150 for general category and 82/150 for SC/OBC/ST.

There is no relaxation for Central government employees in YET.

The minimum educational qualification required is graduation with minimum 50% and B.ED

You must have attained the age of 21 years, according to eligibility criteria of PSTET, but should not be more than 35 years at the time of examination.
