The upper age limit has been increased for all u.p.state examination including pcs j is right or wrong ?

** Upper age limit for UP STATE examination as given below.

:: You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 35 years

:: Upper age limit shall be greater by 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes of U.P.

:: Upper age limit shall be greater by 15 years for physically handicapped person of U.P. if identified post available.

:: Upper age limit shall also be greater by 5 years in Group ‘B’ posts for the Emergency Commissioned Officers / Short Service Commissioned Officers / Ex-Army Personnel who have rendered minimum 5 years service in Army

:: Upper age limit shall be greater by 5 years also for the skilled players of classified Games of National and International level

** Eligibility Criteria:

:: Candidates must have passed graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.

:: The student should have taken Punjabi as one of compulsory or elective subjects in his/her Matriculation examination.

** Number of attempts for PCS Exam

:: The maximum number of attempt allowed for candidates to appear for exam will be four attempts and only three attempts are allowed for ex-servicemen category.
