Re: What will be the career scope of BE in Mechatronics?
Mechatronics Engineering is one of the most interesting courses in Engineering. The Mechatronics Engineering is a combination of various branches of Engineering such as Mechanical, computer, electronics, electricals etc.
The idea of Mechatronics field is to combine these branches and create more reliable and economical products for both commerical and industrial usuage. The focus of Mechatronics remains at design and production of automated equipments. Since Mechatronics deals with more than one stream of Engineering, it works as advantage in its favor. Today there are hardly any product that completely relies solely on one branch of Engineering like mechanical, electrical or electronics. This is the reason why the demand of candidates belonging to interdisciplinary branch of Engineering is increasing in India. Eligibility To do BE/B.Tech in Mechatronics, candidate is required to complete 12th from a recognised board with PCM as the subjects. You also need at least 50 percent marks in 12th board. The process of admission is similar to other Engineering fields. You will have to appear in entrance exams like All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE). Depending on the performance in entrance exams like AIEEE you can get admission in the Engineering college that offers Mechatronics. Please remember that at the moment not a single IIT in India offer Mechatronics course. Job Prospect Mechatronics may be a upcoming branch in India despite that the job scope is very bright here. There may not be as many jobs as you have in Mechanical or ECE but again there are some very high profile, well paid jobs for the Mechatronics Engineers in India. You can find employment in IT industry, electrical plants, manufacturing, product design, robotics, system design, automation etc. In short, your daughter can pursue Mechatronics Engineering without having to worry about job scope. The scope in Mechatronics is good in India and it is only getting better by each passing day. Mechatronics Engineering Institutes Manipal Institute of Technology I.T.M University, Gurgaon Central Institute of Tool Design, Hyderabad G.H Patel College of Engineering and Technology, Vallabh Vidyanagar Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology, Panipat Bharath Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai Maharishi Markendeshwar Engineering College, Ambala Kongu Engineering College, Erode |
