hi...please mention the name of the mba exa which you are interested in writing because there are many mbs exams in india,any how i am providing the dates of the some of the most famous mba exams in indiatentative dates)
1.combined admission testct 22 to november 18(approx)
2.xat:first sunday of january
3.fms:generally fist sunday of december
4.jmet:second sunday of december
5.snap:third week of december
these are some of the most famous exams if you are interested in some other exams please tell the name of the exam so that we can provide the exact dates

There is some major entrance exam for getting entry into MBA so i am giving you the full details about these exams:
(1)CAT(Common Admission Test)
Exam date- 22nd october and 18th November 2011.

(2)Managememt Aptitude Test

1. MAT 2011 Sep Paper Pencil Test

• MAT Sep 2011 Exam Date : 04th September, 2011 ( Sunday )
• MAT Exam Timings : 10.00 a.m. – 12.30 p.m.

2. MAT 2011 Computer Based Test

• MAT Sep 2011 Exam Date : From 10th September, 2011 ( Saturday ) onwards **

(3) CMAT
This exam is conducted in the month of february.

(4)NIBM(National Institute of Bank Management)
It takes entry though cat exam.


Best exam for getting entry into MBA is undoubtedly CAT so try to crack CAT to get admission in best Management colleges in India

if u Joint Management Entrance Test It is conducted as a qualifying entrance test for the MBA admissions in the IITs. This means, the students who are qualifying in the JMET would be considered for the admission procedures, provided some institutions might have additional entrance test in filtering the qualifying candidates.

there is 3 types of entrance tests are there for joining mba programm.the following are the 3 types of mba entrance test
1)i-cet that means integrated common entrance test in andhrapradesh level
2)mat-management appitude test
3)cat-common entrance test
coming to i-cet it will be conducted by andhrapradesh universities once in a year.may it will held may of every year
coming to mat conducted to all indian students 3tines in a year.if you can qualify this exam you will get seat in business schools with less fee

1. CAT- for IIM and other a+ b schiools
2. MAT- for other a and b grade colleges
3. XAT - for XLRI
4.JMET - for MBA in IIT colleges

there is only one entrance test for MBA which is CAT and which is difficult like IIT to clear it but not impossible............other than CAT the other universities or collages which are not come under CAT takes their OWN entrance exam but it will not beneficial like CAT...............so try to clear out CAT.............

this exam is conduct for admission to the best institute for India.

exam is held on month of september.

2)MAT:-

The best Entrance exam is CAT exam.

Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) for the admission in MBA course.
This examination is conducted in the month of November and December.

* Test Pattern :

The CAT exam has two sections :
the first section is Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation
and the second is Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.

* Cut - Off :

You must have scored 98 percentile in CAT examination.
You must also have more than 70 percentage in 10th and 12th.

* CAT eligibility requirements :

> You must have a Bachelor's Degree with atleast 50 % marks or any equivalent.
In case of SC /ST /DA the minimum is 45 %.

> Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor's Degree or those who have completed their final year and are awaiting for results can also apply.

> There is no restriction in number of attempts.

> There is no age restriction.

Selection procedure for the MBA course involves:

MBA written Tests that you can appear are:

MAT- Minimum Eligibilty to apply is Graduation pass.This test is conducted by AIMA.

CAT- Minimum Eligibilty is Graduation pass with minimum 50% marks for general and OBC candidates and 45% marks for the SC/ST candidates.

SNAP- This exam is conducted by Symbiosis, Minimum Eligibilty is Graduation pass with minimum 50% marks.

XAT- Minimum Eligibilty is Graduation pass

To get calls from Good MBA colleges you have to get atleast 95 percentile marks in the all these written tests.

After this you would be called by colleges for the next rounds that is Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
