Exam Details for TNPSC(Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission)

Age Limit as per category wise :-
~If you comes under General Category - upto 30 years.
~If you comes under SC/ST Category - upto 35 years.
~If you comes under the OBC Category - upto 32 years.
~If you get Training in ITI Tamil Nadu - upto 35 years.

Education Eligibility :-
~You should be passed out in Senior Secondary Education/Intermediate from recognized board/university/from Tamil Nadu board.

Technical Knowledge :-
~For Steno-typist you should have a certificate in computer course in Office Automation and your degree should be approved from the Technical Education Department.

Selection Process :-
~Written Exam.
~Oral Exam.
~Interview.

Syllabus :-

Written Exam
~General Tamil/General English - 150 Marks.
~General Knowledge - 150 Marks.
~Total duration will be 3 hours.

Oral Exam
~Group Discussion.
~Personal Interview.

NOTE :- To get pass in this exam you will have to score minimum of 90 Marks.

Important Dates for TNPSC

~Online Regsitration Starts from - July 2013.
~Preliminary Exam - 10/08/2013.
~Mains Exam - 12/10/2013.
