NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) is conducted by NCERT for the student studying in class 10th. The main aim of this examination is to search talent candidates. Those who cracks this examination will be awarded a scholarship.

Candidates will get Rs 1250/- Per month for Class 11th and Class 12th and Rs 2000/- per month for Graduates and Post Graduates. The selection is based on two stage examination. Those who qualify the First stage are eligible for Stage II.

Generally, the NTSE Exam notification will be published in the month of June/July every year. This year Stage I examination is already over and the Stage II Examination is now going to be conducted on 10-May-2015.

All candidates of class 10th are eligible to apply for NTSE Examination, there is no domicile restrictions. The pattern of stage I Examination will be as follows:

Stage I Exam Pattern:

1. MAT: Mental Ability Test
2. SAT: Scholastic Aptitude test include with Language comprehensive test which includes reading abilities, interpretation, evaluation and general awareness.

# The selection process of NTSE is composed of written competitive examination which are:

* Mental Ability Test (MAT)

# There is provision of providing Rupees Five Hundred per month as scholarship to each selected candidate in NTSE.
