Tamil nadu Common Entrance Test is the common entrance examination conducted by the Anna University for admission to Master's level programs. A huge number of students every year apply for the TANCET2012 exam for securing a seat in the Tamil nadu institutes for the post graduate level.

The issue of TANCET application form is announced in the month of March. Interested candidates need to be careful about the last date for the submitting the duly filled in application form. The last date for the submission of the completed TANCET application form usually falls in the last week of April.


TANCET application form for all the programs offered through the TANCET 2012 exam is the same. Candidates just need to pay a fee of Rs.300. Application for more than one program would cost an additional Rs.300 per program. For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, the fee for procuring the TANCET application form is Rs.150. Such candidates also need to attach a copy of the permanent community certificate.
